Marti Ann Schoeberl and Nicholas Sean Lemke were united in marriage on Feb. 15. The Rev. Holly Slater officiated at the ceremony in First Lutheran Church at Mitchell.
The bride wore a strapless white satin gown accented with rouching, beading and crystals on the bodice. Tiny buttons covered the lace-up back. She carried a bouquet of pink and yellow gerbera daisies with green mini poms.
Her personal attendant was Callie DeBondt.
The maid of honor was Kallie Baum, and bridesmaids were Kala Cuka, Chynna Mikkelson and Tory Kuyper. They wore long begonia-colored dresses and carried bouquets similar to the bride's.
The flower girls were Hailee Christensen, Olivia Quam, Lexi Hirsch and Lou Schladweiler. They wore white dresses with sashes in pinks and yellows to match their baskets of flower petals.
The ringbearer was Ean Christensen (godson of the bridegroom).
Bill Hamilton was the best man, and groomsmen were Wade Schoenfelder, Tyler Klumb and Sam Lauer. Ushers were Matt Schoeberl (brother of the bride) and Levi Van Overschelde; they also lit the candles.
Soloist was Brooke Warne and pianist was Lonnie Burns.
Following the ceremony, a reception and dance were held at the Ramada Inn. Host and hostess were Ron and Bobbi Janke (godparents of the bride). Cake was cut by Mary Bush and Julie Doblar (aunts of the bride).
Special guests at the wedding were the couple's grandparents: Darlene Schoeberl, Ellen Schneider, and Arnie and Agnes Rieger.
Parents of the couple are Leo and Marcia Schoeberl of Madison and Arden and Jeannette Lemke of Mitchell.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Madison High School and earned her Associate's degree in nursing from Dakota Wesleyan University in 2012. She works as a registered nurse at Avera Hospital in Mitchell and will graduate from DWU in May with her Bachelor of Arts in Nursing degree.
The bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Mitchell High School. He attended South Dakota State University and served in the South Dakota National Guard. He is employed with Lemke Digging & Drilling in Mitchell.
Following a wedding trip to Florida and the Bahamas, they are at home in Mitchell.
