The Madison City Commission will hold a second reading of a proposed repeal of the city's yard waste collection program when it meets at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday at City Hall.
The city commissioners have scheduled a Tuesday meeting due to the Memorial Day holiday.
After the second reading, the commissioners will consider approving a proposal to end the city's program that regularly collects grass clippings and other yard waste from residents.
The commissioners review renewal applications from businesses and organizations that hold malt beverage and South Dakota winery sales licenses. They will also consider approving a sidewalk variance requested by Marlin Mikel at 802 S.W. 1st St.
