The Madison Lady Bulldogs volleyball team had no problems in handling Garretson on Monday night. The Lady Bulldogs won the match 3-0 (25-14, 25-14 and 25-15).
Serena Hopf was 17 of 17 from the service line with four aces, while Preslee Jorgenson was 13 of 15 from the service line with three aces.
At the net, Jorgenson hammered down 14 kills while Hopf and Coley Stoller each smashed down seven kills. Sabrina Bloom had one solo block and Stoller had two block assists. Ashley Schwebach and Marisa Eimers each had 10 set assists. Stoller added five set assists.
Taylor Bird led the team in digs with 28. Jorgenson accounted for nine digs.
"The girls did a nice job going in and getting the job done," said Madison Coach Jill Kratovil. "We had a few too many errors on our side, but I thought the girls played hard and came out with a win."
Madison (10-7 overall) will host Sioux Valley on Tuesday (tonight) in the annual Dig Pink Night. The first serve of the night will be at 5 p.m. for the C-team match.
Both the junior varsity and freshman team earned 2-0 wins against Garretson on Monday night.
