The Madison City Commission will consider acknowledging a letter on Monday from residents along E. Center St. in Madison asking that the city prohibit semi traffic down their city street.
In the letter that the city commissioners will review at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, the E. Center St. residents are asking city officials to reroute semi traffic down S. Division Ave. They also ask the city to install a Madison Livestock Auction sign on 3rd St. to help reroute truck traffic.
In other business, the commissioners will consider:
-- Acknowledging an application for a malt-beverage license for the Trojan Tap from Ron Beckman, which also includes a license application for 10 video lottery machines.
-- Acknowledging a letter from the Federal Emergency Management Agency regarding reimbursement for repairs to the Park Creek rock wall.
-- Reviewing the recommendations from the city's Electric Advisory Committee.
-- Reviewing an application from Madison's VFW to add lottery machines.
The commissioners have also scheduled an executive session to prepare for contract negotiations or negotiating with employees or employee representatives.
