Lake County Commissioners has a full slate of drainage hearings on the agenda for Tuesday's meeting.
The meeting begins at 9 a.m., with an hour set aside for the drainage hearings at 10 a.m. Prior to drainage discussion, the commission will meet with State's Attorney Ken Meyer to discuss personnel and legal matters in closed session.
Sheriff Roger Hartman plans to discuss a personnel item at 9:40 a.m., followed by 911 Communications Supervisor Julie Wegener with a personnel item at 9:50 a.m.
The eight drainage hearing requests will be presented by Zoning and Drainage Officer Deb Reinicke. Reggie Wiese, LeRoy Erickson and Steve Brown are each seeking one drainage permit. Chad Wosje is making requests for three drainage permits, and Scott and Graydon Schlisner are seeking two drainage permits.
Reinicke also plans to present three requests for underground boring from Joel Overskei, Tom Gannon and Randy Carper.
At 11:15 a.m., Rod Fortin of the South Dakota Department of Legislative Audit will present his 2010-11 audit report.
The commissioners will consider Resolution 12-15, which sets the date for remitting all outlying county offices' monthly deposits.
At 11:35 a.m., commissioners plan to discuss County Roads 51 and 53 and a weight limit resolution.
Building and Grounds Superintendent Derrick Shoenrock will discuss the county's surplus property list at noon.
Other items for discussion include the Christmas holiday, an automatic budget supplement for the weed department and the Recreational Trail Program grant.
