Schalow to serve five days for DUI
By CHUCK CLEMENT, Staff Reporter 11/20/2012
Sarena Jo Schalow, 29, was ordered to serve five days in jail and pay $1,100 in fines for first-offense driving under the influence and ingesting an intoxicant charges.

Schalow appeared for sentencing before Judge Tim D. Tucker in Third Circuit Court and was ordered to serve five days in jail with the remaining 85 days suspended. She was also ordered to pay $800 in fines, restitution and court costs on the DUI charge.

Schalow's license to drive was revoked for one year, but she was allowed a work permit.

Tucker also fined Schalow an additional $300 on the charge of ingesting an intoxicant other than alcohol.

Schalow was arrested on Aug. 5, and a test determined that her blood alcohol level was 0.159, about twice the legal limit.
