Rutland board meets Monday

The Rutland School Board meets Monday at 5:30 p.m.

Items on the agenda include consideration of minutes, claims and financial reports at 5:30 p.m. and reports from the superintendent, principal, athletic director and Prairie Lakes Cooperative at 6 p.m.

Beginning at 6:20 p.m., the following items will be considered by the board:

-- The first hearing of a policy for administrative procedures for food service delinquent accounts and procedures for students.

-- The purchase of a 1997, 71 passenger Blue Bird bus.

-- An open enrollment request for a student seeking to return to their home district.

-- Approval of contracts for Troy Powell (bus driver), Wayne Hegdahl (junior high track) and Carol Swier (revised, 6th grade language arts).

-- Action on a ballot for the Associated School Boards of South Dakota board of directors in the southeast region.

-- Two open enrollment requests for the spring semester.
