A son, Cooper Matthew, weighing 5 lbs. 6 oz., was born on Dec. 21 at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls to Matt and Candace Carroll of Rutland. Grandparents are Jim and Lane Carroll and Todd and Robin Johnson, all of Colman. Great-grandmother is Jean Pederson of Sioux Falls.
