City to handle licenses, 2013 election
By CHUCK CLEMENT, Staff Reporter 01/18/2013
The Madison City Commission will hold a meeting with a short agenda at 5:30 p.m. on Monday at City Hall.

The city commissioners will review license applications for commercial solid-waste haulers made by the city of Madison and Bud's Clean-Up Service.

They will also hear information about the upcoming vacancy for the post of city mayor and details about circulating and filing election petitions. Mayor Gene Hexom has decided not to run for a new term in 2013.

The city and Madison Central School District have scheduled a combined election on April 9.
