Fire reported east of Chester
By CHUCK CLEMENT, Staff Reporter 02/01/2013
Chester firefighters responded to a rural fire that occurred late Thursday morning located on a farm east of town just across the Moody County line.

Three fire trucks were sent at about 11 a.m. to a farm located near the intersection of 239th St. and 467th Ave. to extinguish a fire on a skid-steer loader.

The firefighters reported that the loader was the only property damaged during the emergency. No injuries were reported.

They spent about 15 minutes at the farm operated by Mark Anderson of Colman about 5 miles northeast of Chester before the firefighters returned to the Chester fire station.
