Hoffman, Ptacek wed

Mr. and Mrs. Ben Ptacek
Megan Hoffman and Ben Ptacek, both of Lincoln, Neb., were married on Oct. 20 at Mount View Presbyterian Church in Omaha. The Rev. Lyle Meester performed the wedding ceremony.

Bethany Friedow was the maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Tara Gabrielson, Marlee Moe, Sara Ebsen and Allison Johnson.

Ken Morton was the best man and groomsmen were Nicholas Ptacek (brother of the bridegroom), Justin Waldrtop, Carrston Powell and Scott Sorenson.

Lucy Burns, niece of the bridegroom, was the flower girl and ringbearers were Zachary Blackwell and Curtis Hoyt, nephews of the bridegroom.

Ushers were Brett and Nathan Hoffman, brothers of the bride, and Justin Mullen.

A reception was held at the Schlar building in Omaha.

Following a wedding trip to New Zealand, the couple is at home in Lincoln.

The bride is the daughter of Randy and Cindy Hoffman of Madison. She is a 2003 graduate of Madison High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor's degree in journalism. She is employed as a graphic designer in Lincoln.

Her fiance is the son of Steve and Victoria Ptacek of Plattsmouth, Neb. He is a 2001 graduate of Plattsmouth High School and a 2006 graduate of UNL with a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering. He works for the state of Nebraska.
