The Madison City Commission will review application papers regarding a transportation planning study when it meets at 5:30 p.m. on Monday at City Hall.
The South Dakota Department of Transportation has administered a program during the last several years that provides federal funds to local governments so they can conduct transportation planning studies. SDDOT officials have asked the city whether Madison wants to participate in the program.
The city commissioners will consider bids for purchasing padmount transformers and switches and power cable. They will also consider selling 100 used water meters to Hisega Meadows Water of Rapid City.
