Madison City Commissioners will meet on Monday at 5:30 p.m. with several appointments.
A 5:35 p.m. hearing will be held on proposed amendments to the city's comprehensive land use plan, which changes the zoning of a particular section of land from industrial to commercial/industrial. The board will then consider Resolution 2013-4 ratifying the amendment to the comprehensive land use plan.
The board will hear information on an emergency solutions grant program for the Domestic Violence Network.
The Madison Fire Department is requesting a temporary alcohol license for the Fireman's Dance April 6.
Bids for the sidewalk improvement project will be considered and commissioners will set a bid date for the water treatment plant improvement project.
Discussion will take place on an amendment to the owner engineer agreement with Banner Associates for the water treatment plant improvements.
The city will also consider a plat of Lemme's Addition; hold the first hearing of Ordinance 1542 regarding security lights; and consider the sale of water meters to the city of Oldham.
Personnel items and absentee voting will be discussed.
