When the Lake County Commissioners meet at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, they will cover a mixed bag of items.
Dan Lemme will address the group about a possible land trade at the county gravel pit. At the end of the morning session, around 11 a.m., the board members will take a road trip to see the area. They will also visit the access area to determine where the recreation trail should be developed.
Shirley Ebsen (Equalization) and Don Thomson (EMA) will discuss Beacon mapping data. Derrick Shoenrock will report on the recently completed tuckpointing.
The Rotary Club will ask the commissioners for a temporary malt beverage license. County Treasurer Linda Fischer and County Sheriff Tim Walburg will request cancellation of mobile home taxes. Deb Reinicke (Planning and Zoning) will bring to the commission a conditional use/extended home occupation for Stan Fods, a variance for Michael Snyder and two plats. There will be drainage hearings for projects requested by Mark Mergen and Terry Schultz.
Ebsen will also talk about a resignation, while Walburg will address the group regarding a new hire.
The commission will go into executive session to discuss personnel at 9:35 a.m.
