Dale E. Robson will celebrate his retirement with a roast open to all friends and family on Oct. 26 from 7-10 p.m. at Cascio's Steak House in Omaha, Neb.

Robson, a native of Madison and son of Iola and the late Carl Robson, is retiring from the Federal Aviation Administration this month. He has worked as an air traffic controller for 25 years and has received many awards for excellent service.
He first became an air traffic controller in the Army at age 17. After working for five years, he survived the strike of 1980 and was rehired in 1996.
Robson has worked at the Kansas City Air Route Traffic Control Center, as well as in Fayetteville, N.C., Miami, Fla., and Omaha and Lincoln, Neb.
