    Four Bulldogs land on Big 8 All-Conference team

    The Madison Bulldogs placed four players on the final Big 8 All-Conference football team this season.

    Players who were named to the All-Conference first team were seniors Brendon Waldner and Jacob Ricke and juniors Rush Milne and Jordan Unterbrunner.

    The Bulldogs finished in third place in the Big 8 standings with a 2-2 record.

    Other players who were selected to the first team are as follows:

    Harrisburg--Andrew McCuen, Trever DeSchepper, Kyle Ackerman, Ryan Radzak, Devyn Schriever and Carson Creel.

    West Central--Eric Krizan, Brandon Pennock, Dylan Hagert, Cole Jorgenson and Mitchell Brockhaus.

    Lennox--Joe Hendrickson, Zach Koosman and Jacob Beukelman.

    Vermillion--Alex Osborne and Nick Jensen.

    Each team had two players selected to the honorable mention squad. Honorable mention players are as follows:

    Madison--juniors Jacob Giles and Tyler Currey.

    Harrisburg--CJ Gray and Mike Loyira.

    West Central--Anthony Lueth and Triston Westhoff.

    Lennox--Tyler Harms and Derek DeVires.

    Vermillion--Avery Garcia and Ty Iverson.

    Harrisburg won the conference title with a 4-0 record. Following the Tigers were West Central 3-1, Madison 2-2, Lennox 1-3 and Vermillion 0-4.
