By NICK HUNTIMER, DSU Sports Information 03/19/2013
POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. -- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2012-13 Division II Men's Basketball All-American teams. Luke Lamb of Dakota State University was selected to the NAIA All-American Honorable Mention list.

Lamb, a 6-foot-6 forward, was an integral member of the Trojan men's basketball team that captured the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Conference Postseason Tournament Championship for two straight years.

He was a member of the DSU men's basketball team that qualified for the NAIA Division II Men's Basketball National Tournament two consecutive seasons, advancing to the Elite Eight on March 9 for the first time since 1992.

DSU broke the school record of 24 victories this season.

Lamb earned A.I.I. All-Conference first team honors earlier this season. He was named to the A.I.I. Conference All-Tournament team where he averaged 16.3 points and 7.0 rebounds in the tournament.

Lamb averaged 11.9 points and 5.8 rebounds this season for the Trojans. He was 141-for-344 (41 percent) from the field, 58-for-167 (34.7 percent) from 3-point range and 63-for-74 (85.1 percent) from the free throw line.

During his two-year career at DSU (60 games), Lamb amassed a total of 626 points (10.4 points per game), 274 rebounds (4.6 rebounds per game), 86 assists (1.4 assists per game), 68 steals (1.1 steals per game) and 16 blocks (0.3 blocks per game).

He was 218-for-539 (40.4 percent) from the field and converted 93 free throws in 112 attempts (83 percent).

Lamb produced the seventh most career 3-pointers in DSU records with 97. He is 10th in the record book for career 3-point field goal percentage, converting 97 3-pointers in 274 attempts (35.4 percent).

He is the son of Kathy Lamb of Altoona, Iowa.
