The Lake County Sheriff's Department received a report last week that an ice-fishing shack located on Long Lake was burglarized.
The owner of the fishing shack told the sheriff's office that someone had broken into the shack through its door and had stolen several possessions stored inside.
The items reported as stolen included a tackle box, air rifle and fishing rods. Sheriff's personnel were told that other fishing shacks in the area were also broken into.
The shack's owner reported the break-in on Jan. 23 and told authorities that it was last used on Jan. 19.
