Madison Central kindergarten registration will be held on Feb. 7 and 11 at Madison Elementary School.
Parents may stop at the school on Feb. 7 between 8 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. or Feb. 11 between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Bring a copy of the child's certified birth certificate and current immunization record.
State law requires that the school have a copy of the birth certificate on file. Hospital certificates cannot be accepted.
It will take approximately 15 minutes to fill out registration forms.
To be eligible for kindergarten, a child must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1. A child who is 6 years old on or before Sept. 1 is required to attend school in accordance with the compulsory attendance law.
School district officials ask residents to inform others who may need to be informed about registration.
