Madison Seventh-Graders have built their own rainforest, not just to keep warm but also to learn all about that ecosystem. Their studies included science, math and English but culminates with the building of their own rainforest. Kindergartners will get to tour their creation on Monday, and parents are invited to an open house Monday from 3:30-5 p.m. Students pictured are Jenni Waba (front), Natalie Scholl, Ashley Aguirre, and Theo Sanders. Madison ACT results differ for male, female students The class of 2013 from Madison High School did well on their ACT tests compared to the average scores across South Dakota, but Madison educators can see some weaknesses when the exam scores are separated between males and females.
