Madison Police search for burglary suspect

The Madison Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a man who is a suspect in a weekend burglary at the Lakeview Tower Apartments in Madison.

At about 7:50 a.m. on Sunday, a male described as in his 20s entered the office area of the apartment complex and left with an undisclosed amount of money.

Det. Sgt. Justin Meyer of the Madison Police reported that the male was dressed in blue jeans, a white shirt and jacket. The man was described as having short brown hair and a goatee, standing from 5'7" to 5'10" tall, and weighing 160 pounds.

Anyone with information about the burglary suspect is asked to contact the Madison Police Department at 256-7531 or Crime Stoppers at 256-7634.
