The Madison City Commission approved on Monday two applications made by SDN Communications to conduct directional boring under municipal rights-of-way in the central part of Madison.
Officials with SDN Communications need to conduct the underground boring to install fiber-optic cable for service to Great Western Bank and Community Counseling Services.
The city commissioners also agreed to hold their next weekly meeting on Sept. 4 due to the Labor Day holiday.
