Pumpkin Train is Saturday
By ELISA SAND, Staff Reporter 10/03/2012
About 600 pumpkins cover the field at Prairie Village in anticipation of this weekend's Pumpkin Train.

The third annual event will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Children and parents have the opportunity to ride the train to the pumpkin patch, pick out a pumpkin and participate in a variety of free children's activities.

The cost is $5 per child who is 12 or younger. Proceeds benefit the carousel restoration project.

Pumpkins are available while supplies last.
