Reif resigns as deputy sheriff

Lake County Sheriff's Deputy Mark Reif resigned his post effective last Wednesday.

Reif had been with the Sheriff's Office since February 2007.

County Sheriff Roger Hartman said that Reif cited personal reasons in his letter of resignation. He was one of four deputies in the Sheriff's Office.

The Sheriff's Office is already seeking applications for Reif's replacement.
