City commission to meet Monday
By Staff 11/30/2012
Madison City Commissioners will hold the second reading for several ordinances on Monday.

The weekly commission meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, with 5:35 p.m. hearings on four ordinances regarding fences, definitions, alternate members to the planning commission, and conditional use permitting for hospitals and clinics.

Items for new business include a review of recommendations by the electric advisory committee for a commercial and residential rebate program and a 2013 electric rate study; and consideration of a resolution regarding sales tax refunding bonds on the 2006 Lewis & Clark sales tax bonds.

Commissioners will hold the first reading on three ordinances setting new license fees for electricians, plumbers and sidewalks. The first hearing on a supplemental budget ordinance will also be reviewed.

The mayor will seek approval to sign an agreement for professional services/administrative duties.
