MONTROSE -- A Salem woman died in a one-vehicle crash on S.D. Highway 38 just west of Montrose early Monday (today).
Amanda Marie Heiberger, 28, was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Impala westbound. The vehicle left the roadway and entered the north ditch, where it struck a driveway, vaulted and rolled. Heiberger, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle and was dead at the scene.
No further information is immediately available.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating. McCook County Sheriff's Office and Montrose Emergency Medical Service assisted.
