Five firearms were stolen from a rural Lake County residence last week.
The Lake County Sheriff's Office said the burglary took place in the southcentral part of the county on 451st Avenue. The rifles were stolen sometime between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning.
The owner of the rifles reported the theft Thursday morning. The rifles had been kept in a gun cabinet inside the home.
Lake County Sheriff Tim Walburg said that four of the rifles have been recovered in Texas with the arrest of Clayton Busters. Texas highway patrolmen arrested Busters following a tip that he was in possession of stolen firearms. It is unknown where Busters is from. He was arrested on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
