The candidates running for a term as Madison's mayor and three seats on the Madison School Board will participate in an election forum held Tuesday might at City Hall.
The candidates will have opportunities to introduce themselves to voters and audience members may direct their questions to the candidates during the April 2 election forum hosted by the Greater Madison Area Chamber of Commerce.
The Chamber's Governmental Affairs Committee has scheduled the forum from 7-8 p.m. in the city commissioners' meeting room.
Three men are campaigning for a three-year term as Madison's mayor. The candidates for the open mayor's seat are Dale Davis, Roy J. Lindsay Jr. and Myron Moen.
Five persons are running for three seats on the Madison School Board. Susan Berry, Ryan Hegg, Tom Farrell, Charles R. Moore and Rick Reyes, all of Madison, will run for three-year terms.
The Madison Central School District consists of many of the townships located in the southwestern portion of Lake County, plus parts of six townships in northeastern McCook County.
Officials will hold the combined city-school district election from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on April 9 at the Downtown Armory.
