12/26/2012 Chester accident damages parked car By CHUCK CLEMENT, Staff Reporter The Lake County Sheriff's Office reported one accident that occurred last weekend involving a vehicle that struck a parked car on a Chester street. The sheriff's report indicated that at about 7:20 p.m. on Sunday, Jennifer Peterson, 34, of Sioux Falls was driving southbound on 2nd Ave. in Chester. Peterson was driving alone in a 2011 Dodge Caravan and took her eyes off the roadway to see if anyone was at home in a neighborhood residence. Her van collided at a low speed with a 1992 Honda Civic owned by Angie Curtis of Chester that was parked along the street. Damages to the Caravan were estimated at $1,515 and the damage estimate for the Civic was calculated at $910.
