01/11/2013 Barton, Opdahl wed Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Opdahl Tracy Barton and Nicholas Opdahl of Madison were married on Dec. 21. The Rev. Dirk Hagmaier performed the evening ceremony at Trinity Lutheran Church in Madison. The maid of honor was Melissa Heard, and bridesmaids were Tayler Herold, Madison Kryger, Tara Reigner, Abby Nielsen and Anne Schwenk. The best man was Neil Opdahl, and groomsmen were Steve Christiansen and Jordan, Austin and Dylan Opdahl. The flower girl was McKenna Kryger, and the ringbearer was Jaxton Opdahl. Tony Barton ushered the guests. A special guest at the wedding was Ladonna Christensen. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Lakes Golf Course. The bride is the daughter of Tim and Nancy Barton of Brookings. She is a parish nursing student at Augustana College in Sioux Falls and is employed as a registered nurse. The bridegroom is the son of Greg and Dixie Opdahl of Hayti. He is the general manager at Superior Homes.
