New Madison principals hired

The Madison School Board approved on Monday night hiring new principals during the 2013-14 school year for the high school and elementary school.
Adam Shaw, currently an administrator with the Marion School District, was approved as Principal Sharon Knowlton's successor at Madison High School. Janel Guse, currently working as a school administrator in Little Rock, Iowa, was hired to succeed Principal Dan Walsh at Madison Elementary School.
The board members also accepted an early-retirement request from third-grade teacher Cindy Ellsworth.
