City to review police, sheriff agreement
By CHUCK CLEMENT, Staff Reporter

The Madison City Commission will consider signing a
joint-powers agreement when it meets at 5:30 p.m. on Monday
at City Hall.

The city commissioners will review an agreement between the
Madison Police Department and Lake County Sheriff's
Department to provide mutual aid between the two local
law-enforcement bodies.

The commissioners should have a short meeting due to only
one other specific item on their agenda, the appointment of
Jeremiah Corbin to the municipal planning commission.
