Flyers continue to roll, down C-E Hawks 3-0

The highly-touted Chester Flyers volleyball team hosted Colman-Egan in a non-conference volleyball match on Tuesday and rolled to a 3-0 win (25-17, 25-7 and 25-15).|
Colman-Egan stayed with the Flyers in the opening set.
"They (Colman-Egan) were ready to play," said Chester Coach Jean Benson. "Our experience finally took over in the first set."
According to Benson, this was the Flyers' 15th game in four days.
"Our schedule starts to heat up as we will be seeing several top Class B and Class A teams for the remainder of the season," Benson said. That starts on Thursday night with Beresford.
From the service line, Erin Benson and Sara Heyn each had four aces for the Flyers.
Jenna Reiff and Logan Miller paced the Flyers in kills with nine and eight, respectively.
Heyn had 31 set assists for the Flyers.
Benson topped the Flyers with 16 digs and Reiff accounted for eight digs.
"I am most happy with our senior leadership; they come ready to play each match," Benson said.
For Colman-Egan, Baylee Groos had nine kills and Tori Nelsen had six kills.
Rachel Harms had 11 set assists for the C-E Hawks.
Nelsen and Hailey Harms each had 12 digs for Colman-Egan.
Chester (17-0) returns to action on Thursday as the Flyers head to Beresford to tangle with the Watchdogs in a non-conference match starting at 5 p.m.
"We want to be playing our best volleyball in October," Benson said. "We want to get better each match."
Colman-Egan (4-10) will host Deubrook in a Dakota Valley match on Thursday starting at 6:30 p.m.
